16" (41 cm.) Composition head with bald pate except black yarn tuft at crown, pronounced nose, painted features, dot eyes, single stroke brows, closed mouth with beaming smile, firmly-stuffed torso and upper limbs, carved wooden lower legs, painted red shoes, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original paper label on doll indicating Pinocchio name in Russian). Comments: caricature doll of the storybook figure, 1930s. Value Points: rare to find doll, perfectly preserved in unplayed with condition in original box.
