16" (41 cm.) Honey-toned poured wax shoulderhead of adult woman with slender face, elongated throat, modeled bosom, on padded and cloth wrapped armature form with attached cast metal stand, wax hands, stylized mohair wig. Condition: generally excellent, some dustiness. Comments: French, circa 1915, from an exhibition of dolls created and presented to illustrate the splendor and artistry of French couture. Value Points: the doll is wearing her original attached gold brocade gown with ivory satin inset panel and lace edging, black bonnet with feathered accents.
