Description
17" (43 cm.) Pink tinted bisque socket head with solid dome, sculpted and painted light brown hair in short boyish fashion with well-detailed sculpting curls at back of head and forelock tendrils, intaglio dark blue painted eyes with prominent black pupils, black and incised upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7760 Heubach (sunburst) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the rarely found model has wonderfully appealing facial expression enhanced by chubby cheeks and chin, choice bisque and painting.
