17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey lower eyeshadow, curly upper lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, black mohair wig, jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci made in Italy (cloth label on costume). Comments: Lenci, 300 model series of children in nationality costumes, this being young lad in Czech costume, circa 1930. Value Points: especially fine state of preservation, the costume has fine details of embroidery, and includes silver studded leather belt and attached blue cap with flowered garland.
