30" (76 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with beautifully shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed poupee body with shapely torso. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11. Comments: Francois Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: grand Exhibition model, with sturdy original body, wearing tan woolen ensemble with beaded jacket border, fur stole, beige hat with feathers and flowers, leather boots.
