The three-drawer chest with slightly-bombe front shaping, each drawer with dove-tailed construction and fine marquetry inlay including pencil-stripe borders, with fine bronze drawer pulls, and with coral/brown marble top with curved and rounded edges. French, late 19th century, the fine details of construction and fine woods suggest original creation as maitrise model.
