20" (51 cm.) Of fine burled rosewood, the sedan chair (chaise a porteur) features elegant S-curved back wall, bombe shaped roof, two side walls and hinged front door with beveled glass windows, bronze trim and carrying grips, and with interior fitted with rich red velvet. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870.
