11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, outlined lips, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (artist check marks on head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed expression, fine gleaming patina of complexion, sought-after petite size.
