Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, painted lower lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Unis France 71 149 301 1 1/4. Comments: Bleuette presented by Gautier-Languereau from their Semaine de Suzette girl's magazine, 1920s. Value Points: impeccably preserved with especially pretty face, the doll is presented in her original trunk along with extensive trousseau of 14 original costumes from 1920s-1930s, as well as original slippers, gaiters, additional shoes, original leather boots, wonderful and rare bonnets, basket, beach chair, and with original catalog for Bleuette from 1918.
