All-cloth muslin doll with flat-dimensional face, painted facial features with simple blue circle eyes, nostril dots, and smiling lips, black yarn hair, stitch-jointed limbs. sewn-on black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Milwaukee W.P.A. handicraft project doll, 1930s Depression era. Value Points: included with the dolls are five costumes, most of which are labeled "W.P.A. Handcraft Project, Sponsored by Milwaukee County and State Teacher College"; the costumes are perfectly stylish of the era and wonderfully preserved.
