Description
11" (28 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, small blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full downcast lips, center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 6969 Germany 1 (head) (Holz-masse stamp on torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: fine quality of bisque enhances the solemn expression, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
