Description
15" (38 cm.) Each has lithographed printed face and hair which is stitch-attached to muslin head form, muslin body with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips, mitten hands with defined thumbs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: from the Babyland Rag Series of Horsman, the dolls, advertised as having "life-like" faces, are Dutch boy and girl, named Jan and Greta, and were offered as a premium for selling subscriptions to Children's magazine in 1908. Value Points: beautifully-preserved dolls wearing their factory original costumes, with fine detail of facial design.
