Description
19" (48 cm.) Of pressed tinplate, the toy features a carriage with hinged door interior cabinet as well as three rows of passenger seats above fronted by a row for drivers. The coach has original red, grey and black painted finish, spoked wheels, is lettered "Versailles" on the sides, and is being pulled by a team of four trotting tinplate horses with painted harness details. Eight passengers and riders sit atop the coach. Excellent condition, original painted finish with some minor rubs. French, mid-1800s.
