6" (15 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair waved into coiled chignon at back of head, painted tiny blue eyes, lashes, closed mouth, rosy cheeks, firm torso and posed arms, posed upon wooden platform. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: German doll, circa 1850 with original attached costume and posed upon a paper "skirt" formed from dozens and dozens of tiny folded fortunes, each fortune in English, French, and German languages in tiny printed messages. Value Points: very rare variation of the popular 19th century novelty in this tiny size and in three languages.
