Description
16" (41 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head and five-piece body jointed at shoulders and hips, brown sleep eyes, lashes, open mouth, row of upper teeth, reddish-brown lambswool wig. Condition: generally excellent, small tear on skirt. Marks: Mary Lee (head) Effanbee Patsy Joan (torso). Comments: Effanbee, circa 1935. Value Points: rare hair style known as "tousle head", wearing original yellow nylon dress with embroidered holly bell, slip, socks, shoes, and with Effanbee pin; the dress has original tag "Effanbee Durable Doll".
