10" (25 cm.) h. 8"l. Porcelain figurine depicts an elegant woman seated sideways on a purple-cushioned salon chair with gilt tassels, the woman with brown sculpted hair in elaborate topknot, brown painted eyes, languidly-draped sculpted gown and wrap, arms posed in front of body with curled fingers. Marks: 9550 (impressed) (blue crossed swords stamp with two illegible intertwined letters). Excellent condition. Germany, mid-1800s.
