Bisque shoulderplate with plump face, pale complexion, cobalt blue eyes with dark eyeliner, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented pale lips, unpierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French kid-over-wooden poupee body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque hands from below the elbows, bisque bare feet. Condition: generally excellent except professional over-paint on hands. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: the exceptional beauty of the poupee is enhanced by rare wooden body and rare bisque bare feet, wearing very fine antique pique gown.
