Description
11 1/2" (29 cm.) Ash blonde full bubble cut with distinct thatched part on side, blue side- glancing eyes, pale peach lips, straight leg body with nail polish, wearing "Cheerleader" #876 ensemble comprising sweater, megaphone, skirt, socks, tennis shoes, and with pompoms in cello. Condition: excellent. Mattel, 1965, the doll is presented in original box with Kokusai Boeki label at the box end indicating "Cheerleader #876" costume, and tariff stamp inside box, along with original pedestal posing stand labeled "Barbie" in gold. During the 1960s Barbie dolls were sold dressed and presented in regular boxes in Japanese department stores.
