11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted dark blue eyes with pronounced pupils in deeply-defined sockets, black upper eyeliner, one short-stroke brows, closed mouth with downcast pouty lips, center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing delightful red, white and blue costume, and flowered bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 700 4/0. Comments: Marseille, circa 1910. Value Points: very rare variation of the glass-eyed 700 model by Marseille; few models are known to exist and this example is particularly charming.
