13" (33 cm.) x 8" box. 4" dolls. The green-paper wrapped box with gilt paper edging and engraving on the lid of young fashionable girls contained within are four double-sided paper dolls and thirty-nine double-sided costumes, along with an unusual miniature 2" paper doll for a doll. Excellent condition. French, circa 1860, the paper dolls were presented by the prestigious Parisian doll journal of La Poupee Model on rue Drouot and are extraordinary to find in this comprehensive group.
