Description
1 1/2" (3 cm.) -3". Each of the miniature dolls is of cloth with hand-painted face, attached wig or painted hair, cloth body with variations in intricacy, and each is wearing its original hand-sewn costume. Condition: good/very good. Comments: early 1800s, the dolls were created for play in miniature rooms, or as an "Old Lady who Lived in a Shoe" arrangement. Value Points: wonderful variety of dolls, three having especially artistic detail of facial painting.
