Description
6" (15 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, original blonde mohair wig, paper mache body jointed at shoulders and hips, painted coral socks and black two-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent, some frailty to silk of dresses. Comments: French, attributed to Gaultier, circa 1885. Value Points: the twin sister bebes are presented in their original box, wearing original aqua or burgundy silk frocks with lace trim, woven bonnets.
