Description
23" (58 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead with plump face and double chin, blue glass inset eyes, closed mouth with downcast lips, brunette inserted hair, original muslin body with stitch-jointing, poured wax lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, in the Montanari manner, circa 1880. Value Points: the doll wears original multi-layered costume with undergarments, dress, apron, socks and original shoes and has leather purse and woven sewing basket.
