Of intricate silk in an elaborately interwoven narrow striped design and black silk band, the two-piece set includes fitted cap with stitched-down gathered brim and bavolet at the back of neck. Along with matching capelet with similar stitched-down gathered edging. The face diam. is about 4", the cape shoulders are 7". For about 25"-30" doll. Early 1800s.
