Description
Of crisp white linen having crewel-themed transfer pattern design of flowers and vines, the gown has elbow-length sleeves with stitched-down pleats, button front with tiny self-covered buttons and hand-made button holes, self-ruffles at the waist and a very full gathered overskirt which is open at the center front, above a gathered underskirt. For 15"-16" lady doll. 11" overall length. 3 1/2" shoulder width. 7" waist. Excellent condition, one spot on front underskirt. Circa 1800.
