Of densely-woven muslin in russet-golden color, the high waist gown with rounded neckline features gigot sleeves with dense ruching at the upper sleeve and fitted cuffs, self-piping on the fully-lined bodice, fitted waist above pleated skirt which terminates in added ruffle at the hem, hook and eye closure. To fit 24"-26" lady doll. 21" overall length. 6" shoulder width. 11" circ. waist. Excellent condition. Also included is white cotton petticoat, ruffled leg pantalets, and a red silk-lined woven bonnet with unusual flat back and velvet streamers. Circa 1840.
