Description
The cap designed to fit to back of head is of delicately-patterned forest green with floral and geometric designs and is decorated with all-around pleated silk gauze band with embroidered edging overlaid on coral silk under-band, and with six identical bands at the back of cap. Excellent condition. Early 1800s.
