Of densely-woven natural linsey-woolsey, with intricate fabric design, the gown features a fitted dart-shaped bodice with unusual zig-zag neckline edged with brown silk fringe, pouf short sleeves with brown silk edging, intricately-constructed skirt pleats, with polished cotton lining and hook and eye closure. For 16" doll. 13" overall length. 4" shoulder width. 10" waist. Excellent condition. Circa 1859.
