Of sheer white dimity with interwoven delicate stripes, the high-waist gown features a fitted bodice with double-edged ruffled sleeves, square neckline, flat front skirt with eight rows of double-sided ruffles which flow beneath the two rows of bodice ruffles; the ruffles extend around the entire skirt hem and the skirt back is gathered and very full, with hook and eye closure. Excellent condition, few small spots on skirt. To fit 21" lady doll. 17" overall length. 4" shoulder width. 10" waist. Circa 1860.
