Description
Of golden silk faille with interwoven vertical floral motifs, the rounded neck gown features a fitted waist, short flared sleeves, flared flat-front skirt with generous dart-shaped fullness at the back; the gown is overlaid with golden tulle that is decorated with three bands of very fine lace at the skirt, yellow silk bows on bodice and skirt, lace edging of neckline and sleeves, and a lavish attached garland of silk flowers and leaves. Excellent condition. For 18" lady doll. 14" overall length. 4" shoulders. 9" waist. Circa 1870.
