Description
Of horizontally-ribbed white pique, the one-piece gown features a dart-shaped fitted bodice with rounded neckline and coat sleeves with fitted cuffs; the gored skirt with flat buttoned front forms into box pleats at the back with extended train. The gown is accented with red soutache trim edged at the neckline, cuffs and hem with red-scalloped-edge trim. To fit 17" lady doll. 14" overall length. 4" shoulder width. 8" waist. Circa 1865.
