Description
The fashionable ensemble is of two-tone brown silk stripes, featuring a fitted jacket with lace-edged pleated upright collar framed by a brown stitched-down faux fichu, with four brown-silk covered buttons, long coat sleeves with lace edging, with flat-front skirt flap, forming into a voluminous bustle shape at the back. The gown is accented with stripes of pinking-edged brown silk ribbon on the sleeves and around the skirt. For 27" lady doll. 22" overall length. 5" shoulder width. Excellent condition. Circa 1875.
