Of burgundy silk, the ensemble features dart-fitted jacket with rounded collar and Van Dyke shaped back tails, wide sleeves with flared cuffs, and four tiered skirt with draped bustle at the back. The gown is trimmed on both jacket and skirt with unusual embroidered leaf-like lace. To fit 16" lady doll. 13" overall length. 3" shoulder width. 8" waist. Excellent condition except some frailty of lace. Circa 1870.
