Of surah silk in soft brown color with narrow black striping and flecked design, the hand-made gown features a sleeveless bodice and rounded low neck edged with aqua silk and trimmed with aqua bows at the shoulders, set-in waist, and with gathered skirt, along with white cotton ribbed pattern blouse with lace edging. Very good condition, few spots on skirt. To fit 18" lady doll. 15" overall length. 4" shoulder width. 10" waist. Circa 1875.
