Description
The densely-waffle-woven white pique ensemble features an elaborate construction with attached hip-length jacket with coat sleeves which frames a vertical panel of box pleats that are narrow at the bodice and wide below the hips, and a modest pearl-buttoned dickey with attached pointed tip collar. The various elements, including collar, jacket, hem and cuffs are all edged with fine broderie anglaise. For child doll 20"-22". 13" overall length. 5" shoulder width. Excellent condition, few spots on jacket side. Circa 1885.
