Of very dark navy blue wool, the ensemble features a dropped-waist dress with pleated skirt having draped bow at the back, long sleeves, braid trim on the bodice framing a row of decorative buttons which match the braid and buttons on the accompanying jacket, lace ruffle at neckline and cuffs. For 15"-16" child doll. 9" overall length. 3" shoulder width. Excellent condition. Circa 1885. Included is flat-top woven bonnet with muslin lining, upturned side brim and lavish decoration of velvet ribbons and banding.
