Of intricately woven silk brocade in shades of gold, burgundy and russet, the princess style dress features a lace-edged square neckline with burgundy silk gathered plastron framed by silk brocade, with 3/4 coat sleeves, rounded collar, and pleated burgundy lower skirt; there is lace edging at the neckline, cuffs, hem and bustle back. For 14"-15" child doll. 9" overall length. 3" shoulder width. Although the dress is sturdy, the silk is faded and somewhat frail. Circa 1884.
