Of very fine sheer white dimity, the princess style dress features a V-shaped neckline with matching embroidered panel, short fluted sleeves with ruffled edges that are overlaid by wide embroidered bretelles with ruffled edging; the front center panel with very narrow tucks edged by embroidered narrow strips and finished with a frivolous border of embroidered flowers at the hem. For 24"-25" child doll. 14" overall length. 7" shoulder width. Along with an ivory silk bonnet with embroidered flowers at the back and with elaborate ruching, frou-frou, silk bows and streamers, and with padded sateen lining. Excellent condition. Circa 1885.
