22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, deeply-impressed dimples, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, row of upper porcelain teeth, tongue, row of lower porcelain teeth which disappear when the doll is lain down, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with side-hip jointing, antique dress, undergarments, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany 410 7. Comments: Marseille, circa 1913, commissioned by the doll firm of Robert Maeser with registered teeth mechanism curiously described as "movable jaw". Value Points: very rare model with delightful expression.
