18" (46 cm.) Bride has dark blonde hair with curled bangs and sides of hair gathered back into a long pageboy curl at the back. Wearing tagged rich ivory satin wedding gown with heavily-embroidered lace work at the bodice trimmed with tiny rhinestones, lace-edged undulating veil with floral coronet and matching bouquet, taffeta petticoat and panties, net stockings, garter, cream satin snap shoes. Excellent condition, small mark on front of gown, several small holes in veil. Alexander, 1952, model 1850, the doll appeared in the 1952 Alexander catalog with the description "Everybody loves a bride" and has beautifully-preserved coiffure and complexion. Along with Bridegroom with auburn fleecy caracul wig, wearing tagged bridegroom ensemble comprising black pleated pants, short formal jacket with satin lapels and long tails, pique shirt, bow tie, rhinestone pin, pique cummerbund, boutonniere, watch chain, black knit stockings, black shoes, and black felt hat. Excellent condition, light dustiness of shirt and cummerbund. Alexander, 1950, from the "Bridal Series" of that year, with fine rosy complexion and rare variation of hair.
