The sculpted pair of young boy and girl are posed in a playful manner with lavishly decorated and gilt accented costumes, he with hammer and tambourine, and she with scrolled document lettered Journal du Tapageurs. Germany, circa 1880, the heavy cast weight and outstanding details of both modeling and decoration indicate luxury production.
