Description
11" (28 cm.) h. 10" l. Of fine woods with rich burled veneer designs, the slant front desk has elegant cabriole legs, and is trimmed with cast bronze mounts including two figural heads at each leg, garland around the lid, drawer pulls and more; the lid hinges open to fitted interior. Very good condition, few small pieces of wood missing. French, early 1800s. Ex-collection Mary Merritt Doll Museum.
