French Game "Eureka" with Illustrated Board by Poulbot

19" (48 cm.) x 32" framed. The French game features a variation of dart board with poignant battle scene of children playing war and a center target with designated points; included is a the toy pistol and rubber-tipped darts. The board is labeled with game name of Eureka, and the script message below "Desmormais, sone seuls autorises les armaments au tir Europe" (from now on, these are the only armaments authorized for shooting in Europe). The illustration is signed Poulbot. French, WWI era, during which time the French artist dedicated his works toward the protection and care of children wounded and alone as a result of the war.
