Description
19" (48 cm.) Arranged on a heavy cast porcelain base with sculpted ground cover and flowers is an open cart with sculpted drapes and cushions, upon which is seated a woman with flowing brown hair, clothed in a low-draped gown with painted floral designs; the cart is pulled by two porcelain ferocious tigers upon which are riding two playful babies, while another baby appears to push the cart, and a winged cherub is on the woman's shoulder. Excellent condition, one small repair on tiger harness. Germany, circa 1880, exceptional detail of sculpting and design.
