20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with highly-detailed sculpting of pouting child, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with impressed frown wrinkles around the puckered lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed toddler body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 252 Paris 10. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling for this expressive model enhanced by gleaming patina of complexion, original body and body finish.
