Description
35" (89 cm.) h. x 25" w. An elaborately tiered and decorated pavilion with steeply pitched roof and accompanying panels is furnished with numerous accessories and fifteen dolls including the Imperial Couple, four guards, six musicians and three ladies-in-waiting. The ensemble is preserved in original wooden packing box, and is in excellent well-preserved condition. Japan, Showa era, circa 1930, an appealing smaller size with fine architectural detail.
