Description
7" (18 cm.) Each is one-piece bisque figure of adult man or woman, with dimensionally-shaped body front, flat body back attached to flat-sided vase; each with painted facial features in haughty expression and each with very stylized fashionable costume of the 1918 era; including gentleman posed with cane, and top hat and great coat having black velvet finish, and two ladies, each with painted stylized costume (one with parasol), and each with dramatic crepe paper bonnet. Excellent condition, bonnets a bit worn. Germany, circa 1918, attributed to Hertwig and Company.
