Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line and wistful expression, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish, scuff on right arm and one finger restored. Marks: K&H (in banner) 546 4 Germany. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with most appealing wistful expression, especially fine painting of complexion and features, antique costume.
