Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with plump rounded face, very pale complexion, cobalt blue eyes, black eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose. Comments: French, attributed to Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful complexion contrasts the brilliant eyes, wearing lovely antique costume of white pique with unusual accents, skirt, undergarments, bonnet and hat box, leather shoes.
