Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted dark curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shy impish smile, blonde mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, spread curled fingers, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig Germany 131-19 (head) 19 (inside limbs). Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: the rarity of the all-bisque version of K*R 131 model is complemented by its absolutely delightful expression and fine quality of bisque and painting.
